KMML Sets Record in Titanium Dioxide Production

　　The Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd (KMML), Chavara, has created an all time record in the production of Titanium Dioxide Pigment by producing 3,925 MT in the month of January, 2010. This surpassed the existing record of 3,910 MT produced in the month of August 2008.

　　In the case of beneficiated Ilmenite production also, the KMML has created a record by producing 3,800 MTin January by surpassing the 3,790 MT in May, 2008.

　　KMML Executive Director C.J. George said that the maintenance works conducted in the Pigment and Beneficiation Plants during November and December helped a lot in increasing the production

　　KMML Managing Director N.R. Subramaniam said that in the coming months, emphasis would be given to implementation of projects that help to increase the productivity.
